Crescent Ridge is a housing development located in Lakeville Minnesota. Lakeville is a town located just over 20 miles from Minneapolis and is adjacent to 35W, one of the Twin Cities major freeways. Lakeville has been recognized many times as a top place to live in the country, most recently CNN Money Magazine named Lakeville as #19 on the best small cities to live and has also been rated #4. The quality of living is high with several area parks and trail systems, convenient location to two major cities, nearby job opportunity, and school systems that are among the best schools in the state of Minnesota. Of Lakevilles 13 public schools listed on GreatSchools.com the average score is 9.4 out of a possible 10.
Crescent Ridge is conveniently located 2 minutes south of Dodd Blvd on Highview/Holyoke Ave and approximately 190th St W. This location is just a couple minutes from downtown Lakeville where you have small town charm and shopping with all of the necesarry conveniences. Crescent Ridge is just down the street from one of the largest Lifetime Fitness locations in the country that offers indoor and outdoor pools, an MCA studio, indoor tennis courts, a full-service spa and medispa, a café that features a healthy diet, nationally renowned group fitness instructors and personal trainers, an indoor cycling studio, a chiropractic clinic, cutting-edge fitness equipment and complimentary child care. Additionally there are many nearby churches of large and small sizes inclucing Hosanna Lutheran Church and All Saints Catholic Church just down the road. If you like the beach Crescent Ridge is just 5 minutes from Lake Marion that has a large beach, playground for kids, volleyball nets, BBQ pits, picnic areas, consistently has good fishing and is a great lake for recreational sports. Other attractions to Lakeville are the annual Lake Marion Triathlon, Lakeville Arts Center, the Ames Arena, and of course the week long Pan-O-Prog celebration every summer.
As of today Crescent Ridge still has some lots available in the 2nd and 3rd Addition and has a 4th Addition planned for the future. There are a handful of builders to choose from for buyers looking to build a new home.
This development is situated across Holyoke Ave from the Donnelly Farms neighborhood which still has some homesites and has a similar feel with perhaps a bit more upgraded feel. The Lakeville housing market had rapid growth in the late 90’s and early 2000’s but was effected from 2007 on into recent times when we started to see market improvement.
Raising a family in Lakeville and also selling homes here, I can honestly say that this town has a great balance of things that matter to many people such as family, faith, schools, opportunity, and even a balanced climate. Our summers are amazing and winters are generally white and beautiful.
